![]() They have a right to, but there's no merit in criticism until we actually play the new game. But overall it's taking the tone of what Saints Row became and moved it to a different direction - which is what a reboot is, essentially, and what it needed.Īnyone complaining as this point is simply grieving the investment they made into the story in the first four (ahem, three) games. ![]() I hope they'll delivery some somber moments like the first few games did, but we'll see. The characters look like a good blend of SR:TT/SRIV "cartoony" graphics and SR2's more "realistic" tone - not sure if that's because of better graphics in next gen or just more developers or funding, but whatever it is I'm glad they at least IMPROVED the graphics, considering that SRIV literally looked like a SR:TT DLC. Now that I see more trailers, it looks like they're going for a more SR:TT gameplay feel - which, for all the bad dialogue and goofy story, was a fun as hell ride. I really, really, ( really) doubted the initial showing for this reboot, but I pre-ordered same day because I'm a big sucker for Saints Row. ![]() The more I look at gameplay and cutscenes for this game, the more promising it looks. ![]()
